Friday, December 29th Forecast: Light showers tonight into Saturday morning
Expect a chilly start Friday with another mild afternoon. A weakening front arrives Friday night.
The ridge of high pressure will remain in place with high clouds spilling over the top into Northern California.
A system centered to our north will graze the North Coast Friday night and into Saturday morning. The fontal band will bring some showers to the mountains with the best chances on the coast and inland areas.
We will then stay dry from Saturday afternoon through at least Tuesday.
Most models are picking up on a low pressure system to our southwest by the middle of the next week. It appears the low will come ashore close to Central California but will be close enough to bring scattered showers to the area.
