Man robbed at knifepoint on Main Street


CHICO, Calif. - Chico Police are looking for two suspects involved in an armed robbery on Main Street. It happened around 8:15 p.m. Monday night in the 900 block of Main Street.

The victim, a 40-year old man, said he felt his jacket being pulled off his shoulder. He turned and saw one suspect holding a knife and demanding his wallet.

The suspect removed the money, and returned the rest of the wallet. The two suspects then ran toward Little Chico Creek Bridge, and were last seen climbing down the embankment under the bridge.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his late 20's, he stands 6'2" and has brown hair. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt, blue hat, and black shorts, and was armed with knife. The other suspect was also a Hispanic man wearing a flannel jacket.
