New Jersey man found guilty of attempted murder in Mendocino County

UKIAH, Calif. - Adam Michael Kendall, 28, of Harrison, New Jersey, was found guilty of attempted murder by a jury on Tuesday, according to the Mendocino County District Attorney.

Officials said Kendall was found guilty of a murder he attempted in Covelo in May 2015. According to the Mendocino County District Attorney, the jury found true that Kendall personally used a hammer in an attempt to kill a marijuana business associate.

Kendall will appear in court on Thursday, September 14 for the setting of a future date for sentencing recommendation. Meanwhile, the judge ordered Kendall's bail status change to a no bail hold.
