Police: Theft suspect caught "orange handed"

ANDERSON, Calif. - Anderson Police were called to the 3300 block of Silver Street just before 9:00 on Monday morning for a report of a stolen motorcycle.

Witnesses said they saw a man in his twenties pushing a white motorcycle down School Street around 3:00 in the morning. When officers checked the area, they found 20-year-old Nolan Lewis.

While police interviewed him, one officer found the motorcycle in a back yard. They said it had been spray painted orange in an attempt to disguise it. Officers said matching paint was found on Lewis' hands.

He was arrested on felony charges of receiving stolen property.
