Redding woman killed in motorcycle crash
OAK RUN, Calif. - The CHP said a 36-year-old Redding woman was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon.
The crash was reported at 3:47 p.m. on Highway 299 East near Oak Run.
Officers said the woman was a passenger on a motorcycle, driven by her boyfriend.
It's unknown how the driver lost control but both riders were ejected from the bike and collided with two separate trees.
The woman's boyfriend is being treated at Mercy Medical Center.
Alcohol or drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash.
