Sacramento homicide suspect sought in Redding


REDDING, Calif. - Investigators say a homicide suspect from Sacramento, may have fled to the Redding area.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in locating Dinette Eugene Patterson in connection with a deadly stabbing. It happened in the 5600 block of Florin Road in Sacramento on Friday, March 7. They believe Patterson boarded a bus to Redding.

Patterson is described as a black male adult, 38 years old, 5'11," 195 pounds. Patterson was a long-time associate of the man who was killed. A motive for the killing has not yet been determined.
