Turtle Bay offers discount for Stuff the Bus donations
REDDING, Calif. - Turtle Bay Exploration park is offering a discount to visitors that donate a toy to KRCR's Stuff the Bus toy drive.
There are one of several locations across the Northstate collecting gifts for the Salvation Army.
For every new unwrapped toy donated Turtle Bay will take $2 off the price of admission.
The toys will be collected and passed out by the Salvation Army to kids in the Northstate that normally would not see a gift this holiday season.
"We haven't gotten anything yet and I'm not sure if people just don't know that we have it here but it is something great to do for the community and you get a little bonus having $2off of admission, so we are here and waiting," Turtle Bay Guest Services Lead Melissa Maney said.
Maney said this is the second year Turtle Bay Exploration Park and Museum has offered a discount for gifts donated to Stuff the Bus.
Normal admission price to Turtle Bay is $16 for adults and $12 for both seniors and kids under 15-years-old.
The Stuff the Bus toy drive is December 4 at both the Chico Mall and Crown Motors in Redding.
You can drop off toys at any of the barrel located across the region before then. A full list is available here.
