Cell phone company to help people impacted by historic wildfires


MENDOCINO COUNTY, Calif. - In response to the recent wildfires in Northern California, U.S Cellular is providing resources to residents near Eureka, Ukiah and Willits and surrounding communities that have been impacted.

U.S Cellular is providing free Wi-Fi, charging and power packs along with portable chargers so residents can keep connected with their loved ones at the following locations:

U.S Cellular, 14896 Olympic Drive, Clearlake, CA 95422

U.S Cellular, New Trend Wireless, 1393 N State St, Ukiah CA 95482

U.S Cellular, New Trend Wireless, 1702 S Main St, Willits, CA 95490

U.S Cellular, New Trend Wireless, 365 Lakeport Blvd, CA 95453

U.S Cellular is also providing power packs and chargers at the following locations:

Ukiah High School, 1000 Low Gap Road, Ukiah 95482

Willits Library, 390 E Commercial St, Willits, CA 95490

Willits High School, 299 Main St, Willits, CA 95490

The company is also waiving any overage charges that may apply for impacted postpaid customers who have billing addresses in the affected counties from Oct. 9 to Oct. 15.
