Weather Forecast: Frost Advisory Issued For The Northocast For Tuesday Morning
Eureka, Arcata& Crescent City - Frost is possible Tuesday morning for the Northcoast.
Clearing skies tonight and into Tuesday morning will allow for strong radiational cooling. This will allow for overnight lows to drop to near freezing for the coast.
Expect passing clouds but periods of sunshine Tuesday with high running 3-5 degrees below normal.
Another moisture plume from the subtopics of the Pacific will get picked up by a cold front Wednesday and into Thursday. Expect widespread rain by Wednesday afternoon and evening. Southerly winds will also be picking up Wednesday and into Thursday. Some gusts over 40 mph will be possible for the valley by Thursday morning.
Snow levels will remain mostly above 7,000 ft Wednesday but will drop to around 6,000 ft through the day on Thursday.
Showers chances will end Friday night and into Saturday morning with another weaker but colder system arriving by Sunday and into Monday.
