Weather Forecast: Wind Advisory In Effect For Wednesday Morning
Eureka, Arcata& Crescent City - Gusty southerly winds and periods of heavy rain arrive Wednesday.
A trough from the northwest is grabbing subtropical from out of the southwest. This plume of moisture will be directed at Northern California through the day on Wednesday.
We will se some gusty southerly winds with the strongest winds in the inland. Gusts closer to 40 mph for the coast but gusts over 50 mph for parts of the inland.
Colder air will then move in Thursday afternoon and into Friday morning dropping snow levels to 4,500 ft or isolated lower.
We will dry out Friday and into Saturday but another system will bring widespread precipitation Sunday and into Monday.
