HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. - The recent wet weather will provide good smoke dispersion and reduce fire action on all the fires across the North Coast, according to the North Coast Unified Air Quality District.

Air quality is forecast to be "good" for Humboldt and Del Norte counties through Thursday, September 21.

Trinity County air quality is forecast to be "good" to "moderate", depending on fire activity adjacent to the Helena and Buck fires.

Officials said after the current round of rain and showers, there will be a return to dry and warm weather starting on Friday, September 22.
