Free beverages will be served at Stuff the Bus Food Drive

KRCR News Channel 7 along with your local Ford dealers, and the Salvation Army teamed up with Kaleidoscope Coffee in Redding to ask the communities to help donate any non-perishable food items for families in need in the Northstate.

The annual Stuff the Bus Food Drive will be held on Friday, May 11th, at Crown Motors, in Redding.

KRCR News Channel 7 along with your local Ford dealers, and the Salvation Army teamed up with Kaleidoscope Coffee, to ask the community to help donate any non-perishable food items for families in need, in the Northstate.

Kaleidoscope said they've been part of Stuff the Bus for five years and love to help the people in the Northstate.

"You know I think everybody in Redding should do something like this. We can't do everything, but this is one of the things we like to do, to help the people that are helpless," said Co-owner of Kaleidoscope Al Myers.

Kaleidoscope will be there next Friday morning to serve free iced or hot coffee and hot chocolate, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

However, if you can't make it to the Stuff the Bus Food Drive, you can still donate.

Kaleidoscope has a food barrel at their coffee shop on Athens Avenue, so if you decide to stop-by to grab a drink, you can bring an item to donate at the coffee shop.
