Oroville Ford offers camouflage hats for Stuff the Bus donations
OROVILLE, Calif. - These are the final days leading up to Friday's Stuff the Bus toy drive finale.
KRCR News Channel 7 has teamed up with the Salvation Army and local Ford dealers to help make sure all the children in the Northstate have a gift to unwrap this Christmas.
Friday, KRCR will be stuffing two city buses, one in the Downtown Chico City Plaza and the other at Crown Motors in Redding.
Oroville Ford has participated in this event for over five years now. They're offering a camouflage baseball cap as an incentive for anyone who brings in a new, unwrapped toy donation.
"We're so embedded in the community, we do so many things, this Stuff the Bus toy drive is just great for the kids, we just love to see their happy faces on Christmas morning," said Vice President Bob Byrd.
The Salvation Army will also have their own bus to fill with toys at the Oroville Ford Friday morning.
Anyone who would like to donate, but can't make it out to Chico or Redding during the Stuff the Bus event can go to one of several other locations hosting red collection barrels through December 15. For a full list, click here.
