Krispy Kreme offers free doughnuts for toy donations
CHICO, Calif. - The Chico locations for the Stuff-The-Bus toy drive have been busy collecting toys for weeks.
Krispy Kreme is one of them. Staff members say they have had their barrel out for two weeks and will be accepting toys through Friday.
Those that can't donate until then will want to make sure that they come by Friday because Krispy Kreme will be giving a free doughnut to anyone who donates a toy.
"I think that helping out the community is the number one most important thing," said Samantha Fletcher, manager of the Krispy Kreme in Chico. "Kids who are less fortunate, being able to make sure that they're going to have a Christmas and just to be able to know that they're going to have a smile on their face come December 25."
Friday morning, Krispy Kreme will also be at the Wittmeir Ford in Chico where the B-Line bus will be 'stuffed.'
