More girls come forward in Facebook sex solicitation

PARADISE, Calif. - More victims have come forward since the arrest of a Paradise man who is accused of soliciting sex with underage minors on Facebook.

Jordan Kirby is currently in the Butte County Jail. Kirby, 22, was arrested on Monday after a three-month investigation by the FBI and the Paradise Police Department.

Investigators said Kirby had set up three different Facebook profiles, which he allegedly used to contact more than 400 adult and minor females, who lived primarily in Butte County, in the hopes of obtaining nude photographs or sex.

"Basically what I've heard and the messages I've read this guy is a predator," said Jake Smith, a detective with the Paradise Police Department. "He was looking for girls to prey on and take advantage of them, and using Facebook as his tool to get what he wanted."

Not including charges that could come from the new women who've come forward since his arrest, Kirby faces three counts of oral copulation with a person under 16 and three counts of oral copulation through coercion. He also faces two counts of sodomy.
