Paul Smith, 17, missing from Chico

CHICO, Calif. - UPDATE: Chico police said a missing teen has been found safe. Officials said he was found at a friend's house on North Esplanade around 1 a.m.



The Chico Police Department is asking the public's help in locating a missing teenager with special needs.

17-year-old Paul Smith, described as 6'2"; about 250 lbs., was last seen the afternoon of October 3, walking at E. 1st Avenue and Mangrove, wearing baggy jeans and a black sweatshirt with white writing on the front and carrying a large backpack. Police say he is in need of his medication.
