Lt. Gov. candidate makes his way through Northstate
REDDING, Calif. —
Republican Lt. Governor hopeful David Fennell spent several days in the Northstate over the past week, a rare visit by a statewide candidate this campaign season.
Fennell, originally from Half Moon Bay and currently living in the Bay Area, said he enjoys his visits to the Northstate.
"In Half Moon Bay we often felt that rural areas and smaller communities.. (like) Redding and the Shasta Cascades, are kind of left out," Fennell said, adding that he believes the Northstate's appeal to tourism and business should be a priority. "That's why I've made so many trips out here. I was just in Humboldt County for the Kinetic Race a couple of days ago and it's all really fun."
Fennell stopped by the KRCR studio to discuss his vision for California and his platform to fight fraud and corruption in government. For more information on the Lt. Governor candidates, visit the state voter's guide here.
The open primary for Lt. Governor is June 5, 2018 in California.
