Hamilton Elementary School threat deemed not credible
HAMILTON, Calif. —
The Glenn County Sheriff's Office is reporting that the threat made against Hamilton Elementary School was deemed not credible.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the Glenn County System-wide Mental Health Assessment Response Treatment Team (SMART) responded to the school to investigate a comment made by a student.
Officials say the comment referenced a firearm and a school shooting.
A SMART investigation found that there were no credible threats made and no crime was committed.
