Chico police are looking for help to find a suspect they said tried to grab a 12-year-old girl Sunday night.
Police said the girl was walking with her family's dog when a man tried to grab her.
A house caught fire in the City of Shasta Lake early Monday morning.
It happened on the 4200 block of Montana Avenue.
Starting Monday, the underground parking structure off Pine Street in Redding will be closed.
The closure is designed to allow more room for the affordable housing project in Redding.
It could be closed for up to two years.
The Department of Water Resources said they don't believe the main spillway will have to be used, following rain in the Northstate.
As of 7 a.m., lake levels are at about 801 feet, below the 830 foot mark when the spillway would be used.
New bike lanes come to Chico
There will be more places to bike in Chico starting Monday.
The additions will include lanes on Third and Fourth Streets.
City officials said the lanes will be in place until the beginning of May to find out residents' input on the project.
