Evacuations continue in Southern California

Thousands of people in the path of potential mudslides have been forced from their homes in Southern California.

About 21,000 people have been evacuated from areas left bare by the Thomas Fire, over fears of flash floods and debris flows.

ABC'S KEYT in Santa Barbara reports that at least three homes have been destroyed by mud and a debris slide in the Santa Barbara area.

Police: Man reports intruders around home, refuses to leave

A man was arrested in Redding after he allegedly called authorities about intruders surrounding his home and refused to surrender to authorities.

Sheldon Scott, 59, was arrested for false imprisonment and obstructing or delaying peace officers, after he said he didn't believe police were real officers.

Police said he was using meth.

North and South Korea to "actively cooperate" in Winter Olympics

Officials from both Koreas met at a border village Tuesday and have decided to hold military talks to reduce tensions.

According to a joint statement, North Korea will send a delegation to the Winter Olympics in South Korea which are set to begin next month.

Four dead in apparent murder-suicide in Bella Vista

Four people are dead in Bella Vista in an apparent murder-suicide.

A fire was first reported around 5 p.m. Sunday. Deputies said two people were found dead in the living room and two in a bedroom, all with gunshot wounds.

Oroville murder suspect arrested after manhunt

The suspect at the center of a manhunt in Butte County has been found.

Joshua Sealy, 30, was the suspect in a deadly shooting at a home in Oroville last week.

He was found Monday in the parking lot at 5250 Olive Highway in Oroville.
