SHASTA COUNTY

Shasta County offers a number of counseling services and rehabilitation programs. These include a outpatient alcohol and drug program that can be reached at 530-225-5200. For more information or for crisis intervention call 530-225-5252.

TEHAMA COUNTY

Tehama County has public resources, as well as private partnerships, available for residents seeking help with an opioid addiction. The county offers adult and youth outpatient treatment, adult and youth drug courts, and have partnered with local treatment centers for residential and long term options.

BUTTE COUNTY

Butte County offers substance use services ranging from outpatient centers to treatment court programs. There are two outpatient centers, one for ages 12-17 and one for those who are 18 and older. There is also a treatment court program and medication-assisted treatment options.

The Narcotics Anonymous website offers information about support for addicts who wish to maintain a drug-free lifestyle and how to find local meetings.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration offers a 24-hour helpline that provides free and confidential treatment referral and information about mental and/or substance use disorders, prevention, and recovery. Their website includes a Buprenorphine Physician and treatment program locator where patients can fine authorized programs across the country that treat addiction and dependence on opioids, such as heroin or prescription pain relievers.

N.C.A.D.D

National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence provides information and support for addicts and their families about understanding addiction, how to seek help for yourself or a family member, and where to find treatment programs and support groups. N.C.A.D.D has 90 affiliates across the country offering alcoholism and addiction recovery support services, which can be found on their website.
