Redding Fire receives first donation for Stuff the Bus
REDDING, Calif. - The Redding Fire Department is spreading the word that they're a donation site for Stuff the Bus.
By early Monday morning Station, 2 on Placer Street had only a single toy. Fire Engineer Justin Smith said typically the reb barrel would be full by now.
The Redding Fire Department has teamed up with Stuff the Bus every year. Smith said once the live events gets closer the crew will have to step forward and help out.
"It's definitely time for us and for us as members of the community as well. We'll be contributing toys to the drive ourselves so its time to step up and hopefully help these kids have a good Christmas," said Smith.
Donations can be dropped off at several locations throughout the Northstate through December 15. For a full list click here.
Or you can swing by Crown Motors in Redding and the Chico City Plaza on December 8 and help KRCR News Channel 7 Stuff the Bus to benefit kids in the local community.
