Redding Teen Who Allegedly Stabbed Girlfriend's Father at Starbucks Pleads Not Guilty
REDDING, Calif. - The Redding man accused of stabbing his girlfriend's father at a Starbucks was in court Monday morning.
19-year-old Travis Kuks pled not guilty to attempted murder and assault with a weapon.
Redding police investigators said Kuks admitted stabbing 37-year-old Samuel Yount.
It happened in October when police said Kuks and Yount arranged to meet at Starbucks on Cypress Avenue and then got into an argument about Kuks's relationship with Yount's daughter.
Kuks is in Shasta County Jail with his bail set at $500,000. He will be back in court February 11th for a bail hearing.
