CORNING, Calif. - The Corning Police Department is looking for two males who were seen on surveillance footage breaking into the Valero Gas Station at 790 Edith Ave. in Corning Tuesday morning.
Corning Police responded to the gas station after receiving several reports of a burglary in progress around 5:30 a.m. Two males were reportedly seen wearing red hooded sweatshirts breaking the front window, going inside and leaving the business with items.
After reviewing the gas station's surveillance footage, police determined that two male suspects, one in a red 49ers hooded sweatshirt and one in a maroon hooded sweatshirt, drove up in a 1990's model dark colored Honda Accord LX/EX 4-door sedan. Their faces were covered with masks as they broke the front glass with a tire iron and stole numerous packs of Marlboro Red cigarettes, as well as numerous $20 Scratch-Off Lottery tickets.
The suspects were last seen headed north on Edith Ave. There was a third passenger waiting in the car who appeared to be a female.
