Stolen car found with Automated License Plate Reader
RED BLUFF, Calif. —
Red Bluff police found a stolen car from Redding, early Tuesday morning.
Officers received a hit from an Automated License Plate Reader on a stolen Honda around 12:30 a.m.
The vehicle was parked on Aubrey Court near Leonard Lane and was found unoccupied, according to officers.
Personal items left in the car connected Terry Decutler Jr., 24, and Joshua Ellis, 27, to the theft.
Both men were located nearby. Stolen items were found and returned.
Ellis was booked for possession of stolen property, and possession of a stolen vehicle. Decutler Jr. was booked into the Tehama County Jail for warrants and was also charged with possession of stolen property.
