KRCR has reached a retransmission agreement for our off air HD broadcast with the following service providers, Charter, Comcast, DirecTV, DISH, and Time Warner.
The agreements reached allow these service providers the clearance to retransmit our local HD signal to their subscribers. Charter of Redding is currently able and willing to rebroadcast our HD signal on their basic digital package and Comcast of Chico will begin rebroadcasting our signal in HD on May 27th 2009. As a result of their own marketing plans, the Satellite carriers DirecTV and Dish are not currently providing local HD service to our market area customers. If you are a subscriber to these carriers, please contact them directly as to the timing of when they will carry our HD broadcast.
