Originally from Northern California, Jeremy Linder is happy to once again forecast the weather for his home state.
Before joining the KRCR News team in April of 2015, Jeremy worked as the morning and midday Meteorologist at KLST in San Angelo, Texas. The Lone Star State proved to be a challenge with its different climate and fast-moving weather patterns but was always missing a little something; home.
Born and raised outside of Sacramento, Jeremy gained his interest in weather at a young age. This included watching cloud formations and chances for rain while on a family vacation to Lake Tahoe, to even serving as a weather forecaster during his 8th-grade class trip to Point Reyes.
After graduating from high school, Jeremy continued to pursue his passion for weather at UC Davis, earning a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science with a minor in Communication. It was here that Jeremy realized broadcasting was his niche, going back to school at Cosumnes River College for his Associate of Arts in Broadcast Journalism.
When Jeremy is not forecasting the latest storm in the First Alert Weather Center, he likes to spend time with his wife Brittnee, visits family down in Sac, plays video games and watches NASCAR.
