3.0 magnitude earthquake shakes Humboldt Hill

    EUREKA, Calif. - A 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck Humboldt Hill Wednesday morning at around 5:30 a.m., according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

    The quake occurred on the Little Salmon Fault Line at a depth of 1.86 miles, 2.5 miles SSE of Humboldt Hill.

    There have been no tsunami warnings released as a result of this earthquake, according to the USGS.
