Fire crews stop Black Friday early morning blaze from spreading


UKIAH, Calif. - Firefighters were able to put out a fire at the Water Trough in Ukiah early Friday morning before flames could spread, according to the Ukiah Valley Fire Authority.

Fire crews said they arrived just as the roof was collapsing on Nov. 24. According to the Ukiah Valley Fire Authority, they let the structure on Jefferson and South State Street burn down completely after evaluating the extent of damages.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
