Jared W. Huffman


Jared Huffman was sworn into Congress in January 2013 and serves from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Oregon Border. Prior to becoming a U.S. Representative, he served six years in the California State Assembly where he authored more than 60 pieces of successful legislation. Since in Congress, he has worked for the North Coast to protect the environment and help local businesses like fishing. Last Chance Grade is also a big project of his and solving that issue. He says he's fighting for funding for rural schools, research and infrastructure. He's supporting diplomatic breakthroughs that prevent future costly wars.
