Man wanted out of Covelo found and arrested
COVELO, Calif. - A Covelo man was arrested Thursday for violating the conditions of his Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS), according to the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office (MCSO).
On Dec. 7 at around 12:55 p.m., a deputy with the MCSO was dispatched to assist a Round Valley Tribal Police officer on the 79000 block of Mina Road in Covelo.
The deputy responded and met with officer who had detained 31-year-old Luis Oliver of Covelo for a no-cite felony warrant issued in Mendocino County. The felony no-bail warrant was issued for Oliver's arrest on Oct. 20 violating the terms of his probation, according to the MCSO.
The deputy confirmed the felony warrant through the MCSO's dispatch center, then took custody of Oliver at the scene.
Oliver was subsequently booked into the Mendocino County Jail where he was to be held on a no-bail status pursuant to the terms of the felony warrant.
