Two men arrested in Eureka after allegedly flashing a gun

On Friday, July 28, around 2:50 p.m. two men were pulled out of a car at gunpoint by Arcata, and Eureka police officers at the intersection of 4th and R Streets in Eureka.

A concerned citizen flagged down an Arcata Police officer and said that somebody in a black car was pointing a gun at the in traffic, according to officials.

Officials said the officer pulled the car over and held two men at gunpoint until Eureka Police Officers arrived as backup.

The two men were arrested after officers found a gun in the car and learned the one of the men were driving on suspended license, according to officials.
