Weather Forecast: Shower chances end Saturday morning
A weakening cold front will bring showers to the North Coast through Saturday morning.
The cold front will slowly weaken over Northern California allowing for the ridge of high pressure to rebuild this weekend. This will allow for above normal afternoon highs. We will also continue to see passing clouds from out of the west, southwest.
The North Coast will remain dry through Tuesday but changes arrive by next Wednesday. A low pressure system will drift into California by then and tap into subtropical moisture, allowing for scattered showers.
Snow levels will remain above most pass levels through at least Thursday. It is possible that colder air may move in by Friday and allow for snow levels to drop.
