4 suspects apprehended after Orland CVS Pharmacy robbery

The Orland Police Department is reporting that they arrested four people after they allegedly robbed a CVS Pharmacy.

Police say that around 5:30 p.m., three men entered the store located at 869 Newville Road where they reportedly rushed the pharmacy counter and stole an undisclosed amount of controlled prescription narcotics and medication.

The trio then ran from the store to a nearby 2016 Ford Fusion where a fourth man was waiting. The group then left the area on southbound Interstate 5.

Deputies and officers found the vehicle in southern Glenn County, but the car led them on a chase into Colusa County. Police say the group crashed the Ford Fusion and then ran from the area into neighboring fields.

Officials reported that all four suspects were apprehended and the stolen drugs were recovered.

Investigators believe the group and the vehicle are out of the Sacramento area, but suspects are not cooperating and have yet to be fully identified.
