Butte Co. Sheriff's Office looking for stabbing suspect


MAGALIA, Calif. - The Butte County Sheriff's Office is searching for a stabbing suspect after an incident in Magalia Thursday.

According to the Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 6500 block of Allentown Road for a report of a man that had been assaulted with a bat and stabbed in the hand.

Deputies arrived in the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect was identified as Don Craig Mokler Jr., 33, of Magalia.

Detectives are actively searching for Mokler. Anyone with information regarding Mokler, or his whereabouts, is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 538-7322.
