Cleanup and debris removal scheduled for Oroville's Riverbend Park
OROVILLE, Calif. - The Feather River Recreation and Park District (FRRPD) will host a 'phase 1' cleanup and debris removal at Riverbend Park on Friday, June 23 at 7 a.m.
FRRPD does not have an estimated time for when the restoration will be completed. Public access to limited areas of the park will depend on a safety inspection after the cleanup.
The cleanup is hosted by FRRPD, and they will get assistance from organizations including CAL FIRE, CCC, DWR, NWLC, Caltrans, Butte County Sheriff, California Fish & Wildlife, State Parks, Cal Water, local contractor Richter Construction Inc. and KIEWIT.
The various agencies will donate time, equipment and services to implement the initial cleanup of the park.
