CHICO, Calif. —
Chico police arrested a suspect Friday morning after he fell into a backyard pool.
According to police, the pursuit started around 2:15 a.m. Friday when an officer saw a Honda Civic driving recklessly with an obscured license plate and incorrect registration tab. The officer tried to pull the car over but it sped off through an orchard near West 8th Avenue.
