Horseshoe Fire almost fully contained in Upper Bidwell Park

CHICO, Calif. —
Update 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 11:
The Horseshoe Fire is 95 percent contained after winds died down, according to the Chico Fire Chief.
The size of the fire remains at five acres.
Update 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 11:
Firefighters said the Horseshoe Fire is 15 percent contained and has burned five acres.
They said full containment is expected after 4 a.m.
No structures have been threatened and no properties damaged.
The call came in around 9:30 Wednesday night.
Update 11:28 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10:
According top Cal Fire the Horseshoe Fire is 20 acres with a slow rate of spread. No structures are threatened and no evacuation warnings or advisories have been issued.
