'My Pillow' donates 10,000 pillows to Camp Fire victims

Victims of the Camp Fire might be able to rest a little easier thanks to a generous donation of pillows.

The owner of My Pillow donated 10,000 pillows to be distributed to the fire victims after the Camp Fire. The items are being distributed through Northstate churches.

My Pillow founder Mike Lindell is a familiar face seen nationwide in his commercials and infomercials advertising the pillows made at his plant in Minnesota.

On Sunday some of the items were handed out at Our Divine Savior Catholic Church on East Lassen Avenue.

Church Deacon James Burkett said the load of pillows had been delivered to Paradise. He picked up some of the boxes for distribution in Chico.

Many survivors of the Camp Fire are currently living in Chico and attending local churches.

If you are a victim of the fire can pick up a free pillow Sunday, January 13 after the 1 p.m. Mass at Our Divine Savior located at 566 East Lassen Avenue in Chico.

For more information, contact call James Burkett at (530) 520-0683.
