DSA endorses John Greene for Sheriff
SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. —
The Deputy Sheriff's Association has voted to endorse the challenger for Shasta County Sheriff over incumbent Tom Bosenko Wednesday night.
DSA President Mark Dudley said "after two candidate forums the DSA endorses John Greene for Shasta County Sheriff."
Greene, 51, retired from the sheriff's office last year to prepare for a run at the county sheriff job and has 27 years of experience in the agency in a variety of roles.
Incumbent Tom Bosenko ran unopposed in 2010 and 2014 after winning a close race in 2006.
The election for Shasta County Sheriff is June 5, 2018.
