33,000 masks given out to Butte County businesses to help prevent Covid-19

33,000 masks were available to Butte County businesses Friday afternoon as the community fights the spread of COVID-19.

The drive-through giveaways were at the Chamber of Commerce locations in Chico, Oroville, Gridley and Paradise.

"The whole purpose of this was to provide masks for business owners for customers and clients that come into their office without a mask," said Katy Thoma, the President and CEO of the Chico Chamber of Commerce on 4th Street.

The masks were purchased through the North Valley Community Foundation and Feather River Health Foundation.
