Flyers are being left on driveways in Redding with anti-semantic messages.

KRCR drove through neighborhoods along Hemingway street and found ziplock bags with sand and these flyers in them with pictures of media company CEOs with the Star of David on their forehead.

The bags were found on Casa Buena Street, Warm Spring Lane, San Gabriel Street and others in the area. Neighbors said is was the first time anything like that has happened in the area, and they were disgusted to see it happen in their community.

The Redding Police Department said they were made aware of the posts and were asking the public for assistance with any available information. Anyone with information should call RPD at 530-225-4200.

This is not only occurring in Shasta County. The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office said they have also received reports of anti-Semitic material and they will not tolerate it.

“I would like to thank the numerous members of our community who immediately notified my office upon finding these materials,” Humboldt County Sheriff William Honsal said. “Hate has no place in Humboldt County, and we will not tolerate the use of fear or intimidation to promote a hate-filled political agenda.”
