The first in a series of storms is inching closer to us today but will break apart as it hits the Coast. The Coast will see isolated showers especially during the morning hours but the valley is expected to stay dry under mostly cloudy skies.
The storm will finally push through on Wednesday with rounds of moderate to heavy rain, breezy conditions and even a chance for some thunderstorm activity. It will also be cooler especially in the valley with highs only reaching the mid 60's.
More wet weather with slightly cooler temperatures can be expected on Thursday before we see a possible break by Friday. Although there will be a slight chance for a few showers on Friday it should be a drier and slightly warmer day.
The chances for rain continue off and on through the weekend and even into early next week.
The long range forecast models are drying us out sometime near the middle of next week.
Once all is said and done, the valley could pick up between one and two inches through the weekend with more added to that as we go into early next week. The coast could pick up a little more.
