The Fawn Fire is now 100% contained, according to CAL FIRE officials. It has burned 8,578 acres north of Redding.

The Fawn Fire started at 4:45 p.m. on September 22nd at Fawndale Road and Radcliffe Drive.

The fire destroyed 185 structures and damaged 26.
