MOUNT SHASTA, Calif. — A Mount Shasta man was arrested for having over 10,000 suspected child pornography photos after officers received a tip regarding the uploading of child pornography in the area.
Bradley Stilley, a 56-year-old man from Mount Shasta, was arrested and booked into the Siskiyou County Jail on charges of possession of child pornography and possession of more than 10,000 child pornography images.
On Friday, September 12, the Mount Shasta Police Department received a cyber-tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children regarding uploads of child pornography from an internet address within the city limits.
Law officials say during their investigation they determined that the image uploading happened in an alley behind 305 Russell Street at an unmarked address.
On Monday, September 23 at 7:00 a.m., officers from the Mount Shasta Police Department say they, along with the Sacramento Internet Crimes Against Children task force and a deputy from the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office, served a search warrant at the suspected residence.
During the search, law enforcement officials say over 10,000 suspected child pornography images were identified and seized.
Stilley was then arrested and booked into the Siskiyou County Jail.
Officers say the case is still under investigation and anyone with additional information should contact Officer Moore at 530-926-7540.
