Red Bluff, Calif. — A group of ranchers in Red Bluff are organizing what's being called the "Ride Against All Racism," but it's focused on standing up against any and all forms of discrimination.
Event Organizer Justin Jones says their goal is to bring people together to stand up as one and support the rights of all humanity.
His thinking is when people feel like their voices aren't being heard, their reaction is to get louder and with everybody getting louder, nobody is taking the time to listen to each other.
Jones says his event isn't about getting loud, it's about listening to what people have to say.
"We hear you. We hear the problems and we're 100% behind fixing the problems for everybody," said Justin Jones. "It's not a black problem, it's not a blue line problem, it's not a Native American problem, it's an everybody problem and I think everybody needs to stand up and be part of the solution and not be part of the problem."
All are welcome, even those without horses can walk or bike with the group.
The event will take place on Sunday, June 14, at 10 a.m. at the Sacramento River bend area in Red Bluff.
