3. Town hall meeting on care for mentally disabled
The public will have the chance to weigh in on a new care home for the mentally disabled during a town hall meeting Tuesday.
The project is in the works on 10th Street in Thermalito.
Tuesday's town hall meeting is set to take place at Nelson Avenue Middle School at 6 p.m.
4. Lighter determined to be cause of fire
Firefighters said a fire that broke out in a bedroom on 10th Street in Redding was caused by a juvenile using a lighter.
It happened around 1:45 p.m. Monday.
5. PG&E aerial patrols
There will be aerial patrols Tuesday in several Northstate communities.
Patrols will take place in Fall River Mills, McArthur, Cassel, Hat Creek, Old Station, and parts of Lassen County between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
