ATLANTA (WPDE) — A popular side item at Chick-fil-A is getting a "fond farewell."

Starting April 3, the side salad will be removed from menus nationwide, according to a flyer from the company.

"We want to continue providing you the quality food and service you've come to expect, so we've had to make some hard choices about what we continue to offer on our menu," the Atlanta-based fast-food company said.
