Grocery Outlet goes on shopping spree for Stuff the Bus

REDDING, Calif. - Redding's Grocery Outlet Bargain Market is stepping up their donation to KRCR News Channel 7's Stuff the Bus.

Not only is the location a drop off site for donations but owner Ron Davis also dug into his own pockets.

Wednesday Davis went on a shopping spree buying $1,000 worth of food to go along with the toys. He said every kid deserves to open a gift on Christmas and also to have a complete meal.

Some of the items on Davis list included fruit, vegetables and dessert. "There's a definite need. I know the Salvation Army does so many good things in the community and across the United States. It's just nice to be able to help them fill their pantry so that they can pass it on to those in need," said Davis.

You can find a full list of drop off locations here. Or bring them to Crown Motors in Redding and the Downtown City Plaza in Chico on Friday, December 8 to help KRCR News Channel 7 Stuff the Bus.
