Oak Run man arrested for homicide

Joseph Roza, 53, of Oak Run was arrested Monday for the homicide of Gregory Galusha.
Detectives with SCSO learned over the weekend that Roza and Galusha had gotten into a fight Thursday, and Roza fired a handgun at Galusha shortly after.
Roza was taken into custody without incident and is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday on the charge of murder.

A Shasta County man was found shot to death in the 15000 block of Stagecoach Road in Oak Run Thursday afternoon, the Shasta County Sheriff's Office reported Friday.
According to sheriff's deputies, they were dispatched to the area for reports of a man lying face down on the dirt road just after 12 p.m.
Gregory Donald Galusha, 44, from Oak Run was found dead from a gunshot wound. Detectives from the major Crimes Unit began a homicide investigation and say they are actively investigating to find the suspect.
They do not believe there is a threat to the public at this time but are declining to provide additional information about motives or suspect(s) at this time.
